Dicing Blocks

VALTRON® self-dressing dicing blocks are made using a polymer composite that contains an abrasive, which is typically aluminum oxide or silicon carbide that lightly dresses the diamond wheel during dicing and eliminates the need to manually dress the OD diamond wheel to remove kerf accumulation. The patented self-dressing dicing blocks replace traditional graphite or lava rock and provide better dimensional stability increasing productivity and yields. When used in conjunction with the VALTRON temporary bonding epoxy adhesive system, the process eliminates the need for wax bonding, which requires thermal heating before and after dicing. The diced product is easily debonded from the dicing block using a heated VALTRON detergent solution, eliminating the need for a solvent. VALTRON dicing blocks are available in various sizes and configurations and can be custom designed for your specific manufacturing requirements.
